Nellie is new to the rescue so we don't know to much about her. Sadly, we do know that her truck driving owner lost his job and was sent back to his home on the bus. Poor Nellie couldn't go with so she was taken to a local pound.
Please read her foster home feedback.

September 9 - Nellie is an amazing dog!!! She is the sweetest dog I have ever met. She has settled in at our house fabulously. Nellie is the most well mannered dog I've ever met. She doesn't jump up on people (usually). She will sit and wait for a pat on the head. She doesn't bark out the windows (hopefully her foster brother won't teach her this trick either!).
She is great with other dogs. When playing with her older foster sister she will be gentle and when playing with her younger foster brother she will be rowdy. She does great with cats as well. She will sniff them but that's about it.
She does great with kids as well. She lives with kids who are 13, 6 and 4. She listens to them if they say no but doesn't really pay attention to them when they want her to do tricks, unless they have a treat. Nellie walks great on a leash and loves to go for walks.
At night time she will sit on the couch and cuddle in for TV time. She loves a good belly rub and to be by people. Nellie is an awesome dog!!! She is about as close to perfect as any dog could be.
August 30th - Nellie is great!! She is great with kids, our dogs, and our cat. We have had no problems at all. She walks on a leash really well and is completely potty trained. She does very well in the crate and doesn't bark or whine. She is cautious and kinda skitish, but very very sweet. She loves being around us right now and is sticking kinda close since she is so new into our home. We have no doubts that she will warm up quickly and will make such a wonderful companion for her next family!
