Isabella is a very sweet girl. We are very happy to have been able to rescue her from a regional pound thanks to the foster home that has offered to care for her.

Isabella is an absolute sweetheart and a quicke learner. She has already learned basic commands at her foster home.

Please read her foster home feedback for more info.

October 4th - Everyday we’ve had Bella has gotten better and better. She is an amazing dog, and we feel so lucky to have her in our foster home, and know she would make someone very happy as a forever dog! Here are some updates on what has been going on with Bella.

Bella absolutely loves playing fetch, and is great at bringing the ball back to you; I think she realizes if she doesn’t bring it back to me, I can’t throw it again for her! She is very fast and would play fetch all day long if she had it her way. Bella has made friends with a Boxer named Charlie, who will occasionally come over and play with her. She is interested in playing with other dogs for a while, but then needs a little push to interact more with them, and not just with the humans or the ball. Bella also had her first experience with the dog park the other week, and had a blast! So much so we are now taking her multiple times a week. She loves to run around and play with the other dogs, and moves around taking in all the smells. She has never had any problems with other dogs at the dog park, and everyone tells us how well behaved and cute she is!

One thing we are still working with Bella on is walking with a leash. She loves to go on walks, but is not always the gentlest walker, but she has improved since we got her, and continues to do so. That being said, there is a lot that Bella has to offer, first off, she rarely barks. She also does great with her kennel. She doesn’t whine or bark when left in there. In fact whenever she does something wrong, like bark, we tell her no, and then she always gets this sad look on her face, and walks off into her kennel because she knows she did something wrong. It is very hard to be upset with her, when she gives you her faces! Bella also continues to get along with our cat, we’ve caught them cuddling a couple of times, but they do have their moments occasionally.

Bella is waiting for someone like you, to love her forever!

August 22 - Isabella (we call her Bella) has been with us for a couple of weeks and is doing amazing. She is full of energy and loves to play, so our backyard is her favorite place to be besides the couch! Bella came to us with absolutely no training and now has some basic commands down (sit, down, kennel up and is potty trained) and continues to learn quickly. She gets along well with our cat Dexter and has settled into the household nicely. She is absolutely amazing with people of all ages (has been around a 1 year old up to an 88 year old). She has a great personality and is an absolute sweetheart. She does get excited when in new situations and doesn't like to be on a leash but we are working on these things. Bella is a wonderful dog and would be a great asset to any household.
